The Camera Lucida , the 19th century drawing aid, now redesigned to enable anyone to create optically correct drawings and paintings. An artist’s aid to accurate drawing and painting, modern version for sale.
No electricity or batteries required.
Supplied with a support arm and clamp, enabling the camera lucida to be attached to a drawing board or even to a large thin book. With this optical instrument you can see an image of your subject on the paper as you work. Draw from photographs, a computer screen or from life, indoors or out. The camera lucida does not enlarge so cannot be used to produce a large painting from a small photograph.
